సౌర్ క్రీమ్ పౌండ్ cake

3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup butter
6 eggs, separated
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
3 cups all-purpose flour, sift before measuring
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cream together sugar and butter, add the egg yolks one at time; beat well after each addition. Blend in vanilla and sour cream. Into a separate bowl, sift sifted flour, salt, and soda. Add sifted dry ingredients to batter; beat well. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into the cake batter. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 300° for about 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.

Corn Soup


Corn tin : 1
Carrots and peas : 1/4 cup
pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Garlic clove 1/2
corn powder 1 tsp
Salt accordingly
soy sauce 2-3 drops
tomato ketchup a pinch
chili sauce 1/4 tsp


Cook the corn in a 2 cups of water or pressure cook them until one whistle.don't over cook them they will become paste.

Take 1/2 cup of corn aside and make the paste of remaining corn.

In a small pan heat 2 tsp of butter add garlic clove and pepper powder.add corn paste to that and add water for about 3 cups,corn which we kept aside,carrots and peas.boil them on a medium heat for about 5 min.

Dilute corn powder in 1/2 cup of water.keep them aside.

Now add salt, diluted corn powder , 2-3 drops of soy sauce, 1/4 tsp of chili sauce and a pinch of tomato ketchup.

Enjoy it hot with adjusting salt and pepper powder. any snacks will be good as a side dish for this.
